We can help you to transform your driveway with the endless possibilities of resin gravel!

We start by excavating the area to 300mm depth, removing all spoil as we go. Membrane is laid over the area before a base of 200mm of type 3 mot is compacted. Type 3 is used as it is perfect for draining.

We then lay porcelain strips or blocks edges, before an open graded tarmac base coat is laid to the depth of 80mm. Resin bound is mixed on site and laid using a sledge. Resin is then troweled to a smooth finish.

We are a fully qualified and experienced team of bonded resin driveways. You can find our work all over Cheshire, including Winsford, Middlewich, Northwich, Nantwich, Crewe, Sandbach, and nearby areas. Find out how we can transform your driveway with resin gravel at highly competitive prices.

Customer Feedback

Why Choose a Bonded Resin Driveway?

Resin bound driveways give you the look of loose gravel but with a stable, solid surface that stays smooth and doesn’t scatter stones.

They are permeable, allowing rainwater to drain through and preventing puddles or flooding. The surface is also highly durable. It resists cracks, weeds, and stains while remaining easy to maintain.

Resin is a great choice if you want a driveway that looks elegant, lasts for years and adds real kerb appeal to your property.

How Much Does a Resin Driveway Cost?

The cost of a resin driveway depends on the size of the area, the type of base required and the finish you choose.

For most homes in Cheshire, prices typically start from around £180 per m². This includes preparation and installation. Re-surfacing an existing base is often cheaper than a full dig-out and replacement.

How Are Resin Driveways Made?

At KJW Landscapes, we install resin bound gravel driveways that combine the natural beauty of stone with the strength of a modern surface. They provide an attractive and practical finish for driveways, paths, patios and other outdoor areas.

The installation starts with careful preparation. Resin gravel can often be laid over a suitable concrete, tarmac or asphalt base. Before work begins, our team checks that the surface is clean, dry and in good condition. Any damage or weak areas may need to be repaired first. Good preparation helps the new driveway remain strong and gives it a smooth, even finish.

Once the base is ready, we spread a strong, UV-stable resin binder across the area. This creates an adhesive layer for the decorative stone. We then scatter a chosen blend of gravel or natural stone over the resin. The stones settle into the surface as the resin begins to cure.

There are many gravel colours, sizes and styles available. You can choose a warm and traditional blend or a cleaner, more modern finish. Our team can help you select an option that suits your home, garden and surrounding landscape.

After the gravel has been applied, we check the whole area to make sure it has even coverage. The resin then needs time to cure before the surface can be used. We will explain how long you should wait before walking or driving on your new driveway.

Unlike loose gravel, a resin gravel surface holds most of the stones firmly in place. This means there is less movement, scattering and need for regular raking. The finished surface is hard-wearing, easy to maintain and suitable for regular use.

Our experienced team manages every stage of the installation with care. Whether you are replacing an old driveway or improving another outdoor space, we can create a durable surface that adds style, function and kerb appeal to your property.
