What types of driveways do you install?
We install many types of driveways across Cheshire. These include block paving, resin, natural stone, gravel, granite setts, concrete and tarmac.
Each surface has its own look, cost and care needs. Our team can explain the options and help you choose a driveway that suits your home and budget.
How much does a new driveway cost?
The cost will depend on the driveway size, surface and amount of groundwork needed.
Standard block paving starts from around £110 per m². Where as resin driveway prices usually start from about £180 per m². Natural stone prices vary based on the stone you choose and the work needed to prepare the ground.
Edging, steps, drainage and detailed patterns may add to the final price. We can visit your home and provide a clear quote for the full project.
Will my new driveway need drainage?
Your driveway may need drainage to stop water from pooling or flowing towards your home.
The right option will depend on the surface, slope and current drainage around the property. Some surfaces, such as resin bound gravel, allow water to pass through them.
We will check the site and include any drainage work that is needed in your quote.
Which driveway material is best for my home?
The best material will depend on your property, budget and how you plan to use the space.
Block paving offers a wide choice of colours and patterns. Resin gives you a smooth and modern finish. Natural stone can create a more classic or high-end look.
We will also consider drainage, vehicle use and the amount of care each surface needs.
How long does it take to install a driveway?
Most driveway projects take several days to complete. The exact time will depend on the size, surface and amount of groundwork needed.
A small block paved driveway may take between three and seven days. Large driveways or detailed designs may take longer.
We will give you an expected timescale before the work begins.
Do your driveway installations come with a guarantee?
Yes. KJW driveway installations come with a five-year installation guarantee. The products used also come with a ten-year guarantee.
We will explain the cover before work starts. This means you will know what is included and how long the guarantee lasts.
