How long does new turf take to root?
With proper watering, turf usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to root firmly into the soil.
When is the best time to lay turf?
Turf can be laid at most times of the year, although spring and autumn are ideal as the weather is cooler and moisture levels are higher.
Can I walk on turf straight away?
It is best to avoid heavy use until the turf has rooted, usually after 2 to 3 weeks. Light walking for watering is fine.
